PUEBLO 鈥?Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo is making changes to the way it handles behavioral health. The center plans to close its chemical dependency and adolescent psychiatric units, but did not say when. Those units helped people with behavioral or mental health issues, along with substance abuse. Officials said not a lot of people use them, and the units will merge with other behavior health units at the main campus. We are hopeful for a minimum impact on the patients we serve and we are hopeful for that because there have only been four patients served per day in the past two years. However we are still remaining strong to our commitment of behavioral health and moving forward with our services here on the main campus, said Rachael Morris.
