RAWALPINDI:In the fake accounts and money laundering case, Omni Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Aslam Masood, who was apprehended from Saudi Arabia by Interpol in October 2018, was shifted to Pakistan on Friday night.On reaching the New Islamabad International Airport, a four-member FIA team, headed by Additional Director Malik Tariq, took the CFO into custody.According to sources, a case no 4/2018 was filed agains adidas samba original t Masood for facilitating in opening fake bank accounts by using Computerised National Identity Cards of various people. Apart from Masood, some other people were also arrested in the case.Sources said Masood s non-bailable arrest warrants were issued twice. ISLAMABAD:The Prime Minister s Office has asked the Oil and jordan viola Gas Regulatory Authori af1 nocta ty (Ogra) to allow up to 4% gas losses and theft - called unaccounted for gas (UFG) - to the two public gas utilities working in the country.At present, Ogra permits 6.3% gas losses to the two utilities - Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).Earlier, gas companies were allowed nike af to cover 4.5% losses, however, Ogra raised the ceiling to 6.3%, out of which 5% covered the losses while the remaining 1.3% was on account of performance indicators. These remarks were made by Ogra Chairperson Uzma Adil in a meeting of the National Assembly Sub-Committee on Energy on Monday.She informed the parliamentary body that the regulatory authority had allowed 120,000 extra gas connections to SNGPL in addition to the 300,000 connections permitted to the utility on a yearly basis.On the other hand, SSGC is allowed to give 200,000 new gas connections per year.It is interesting to note t
