PESHAWAR:Residents of Upper Dir are gearing up to celebrate the eleventh edition of the Jashan-e-Dir Royal Shakir Sports Festival. The festival is due to commence from June 20, under the aegis of the district administration, district government and the Upper Dir District Sports and Youth Officer at the Upper Dir Sports Complex.This was disclosed by the Upper Dir District Sports and Youth Officer Mukhtiar Hussain while speaking to The Express Tribune on Friday. LAHORE:The Punjab government is going to initiate Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programme soon under stunting reduction programme in 11 districts of South Punjab, The Ex adidas classic press Tribune learnt on Sunday.Official documents show the WASH programme will be rolled out in Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Mult af1 supreme an, Khanewal, Vehari, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, and Rajanpur. The project is estimated to benefit some 10 million people in 4,630 villages of Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions.The project aims to reduce stunting by i adidas ladies samba mproving nutrition status through ensuring access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all women, men, and children and substantially reduce open defecation in rural areas of targeted districts of South Punjab by 2021-22.The main objective and stipulated output of the programme include: promote knowledge, behaviour change, demand for services and opportunities for participation in rural communities, including
